Association Forest and Hunting

Completed project:

Project tittle: Establishing of a green oasis with a solar-powered watering hole on dry sands Ramsko golubačke peščare using solar energy.

The project is being implemented in cooperation with the Hunting Association "Pek - Branicevo" Branicevo.

Ministry of Environmental Protection has recognized the importance of this project and approved funding for its co-financing, which was completed and the Contract Number: 401-00-1626/21-03 of the day 05/10/2021.

The overall objective of the project:

- protection and improvement of the quality of nature by using existing resources and renewable energy sources.

Specific objectives of the project:

- providing a permanent source of water for wild and domestic animals using solar energy;

- improving the biodiversity of the area;

- providing water for firefighting;

- promotion of the use of renewable energy sources in the service of improving environmental conditions

Direct beneficiaries of the project, in addition to the basic target group (wild animals):

- local community (cattle breeders);

- hunting associations;

- nature protection associations;

- Fire Service, Serbian Army, Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia;

Indirect users:

The population of the municipality of Golubac and the peripheral area of the municipality of Golubac and Veliko Gradiste.

Estimated duration of project activities: July 15 - December 20, 2021.

Project activities:

- Field surveying and marking of places for construction of planned facilities;

- Cleaning the work surface from the existing wood material and performing rough work by hiring construction machines;

- Excavation of the earth with the laying of a cistern and the connection of water supply installations;

- Drilling of water wells and installation of pipes;

- Installing a watering troughs for wild animals;

- Construction of a concrete stand for solar panels, with the installation of a supporting pillar and protective fence;

- Excavation and leveling of land ;

- Mounting and installation of the solar system for a permanent watering place for wild animals;

- Commissioning;

- Public presentation of project results with discussion;

All project activities were completed on December 30, 2021, when the facility was handed over to a partner organization - Hunting Association "Pek - Braničevo" from Braničevo for further storage and management.
