Completed project:

Project tittle: Establishing a permanent watering place for wild animals on the dry sands of the Ramsko golubačka peščara Sands using solar energy.

The project is being implemented in cooperation with the Hunting Association "Pek - Branicevo" Branicevo.

Ministry of Environmental Protection has recognized the importance of this project and approved funding for its co-financing, which was completed and the Contract Number: 401-00-908 / 2020-05 of the day 08/10/2020.

The overall objective of the project:

- protection and improvement of the quality of nature by using existing resources and renewable energy sources.

Specific objectives of the project:

- providing a permanent source of water for wild and domestic animals using solar energy;

- improving the biodiversity of the area;

- providing water for firefighting;

- promotion of the use of renewable energy sources in the service of improving environmental conditions

Direct beneficiaries of the project, in addition to the basic target group (wild animals):

- local community (cattle breeders);

- hunting associations;

- nature protection associations;

- Fire Service, Serbian Army, Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia;

Indirect users:

The population of the municipality of Golubac and the peripheral area of the municipality of Veliko Gradiste.

Estimated duration of project activities: September 01 - November 31, 2020.

Project activities:

- Field surveying and marking of places for construction of planned facilities;
